Days in Akka

The priority pilgrim visits are first to the Shrine of the Bab, then to the Shrine of Baha'u'llah in Bahji and on to the Most Great Prison in Akka.
This is the Collin's Gate leading to the Shrine of Baha'u'llah. We were told by Hand of the Cause Paul Haney in 1967 that this gate, also known as the Outer Sactuary, would be the limit to which future pilgrims could attain. The reason, he said, was because of the sheer numbers of believers coming on pilgrimage.
Our group of pilgrims was 274 and the newer groups will be at 400 or so, according to the new 5 Year Plan. Mr. Haney said that the spiritual power would surely increase with the greater numbers so it would not be any lesser a pilgrimage.
