Here's a closer view of the painting on the wall behind the previous group photo. It was done by Wilfred Lang whom I met when I was just a boy. Wilfred, where are you? If anybody knows, please tell us!
I also have a painting by Wilfred Lang, who gave it to my mother. I believe he passed away in 1994. Does your painting have a number painted on the back of it?

Wilfred Lang did indeed die in 1994. He lived his final years in New Mexico primarily in El Rito, New Mexico. He is survived by various family members including granddaugher Rachel Lang who is also the granddaughter of well regarding, and in Taos much loved and admired, painter Bill Rane(1927-2005).
The nickname "Bumpa" came from my grandson, Aman, who had a hard time when he was little saying "grandpa". My wife, Julie, and I are members of the Baha'i Faith, and are dedicating our lives to the betterment of mankind in the form of service. She's a great teacher of children (our kids are a perfect testimony to that!) and a wonderful companion to her husband.
I have been a building contractor and now, semi-retired, do home inspections in all parts of Costa Rica
