This glass prism was a gift to the ITC from the Canadian Baha'is. It is 9 panes of laminated glass about 2 meters high. Etched into it is the Greatest Name symbol which reflects onto the walls when the sunlight hits it right.
On the opposite side of this wall is the Counsel Chamber for the counsellors working at the ITC, and they have a sliding panel which can expose this prism. As the light hits it rainbows are spead throughout the chamber! What an inspiration!
The nickname "Bumpa" came from my grandson, Aman, who had a hard time when he was little saying "grandpa". My wife, Julie, and I are members of the Baha'i Faith, and are dedicating our lives to the betterment of mankind in the form of service. She's a great teacher of children (our kids are a perfect testimony to that!) and a wonderful companion to her husband.
I have been a building contractor and now, semi-retired, do home inspections in all parts of Costa Rica
