To the Hill's

After our tour with Gilberto, Faranak and Sofia at the Calatrava museum in Milwaukee we drove over to Madison to visit Kit and Xiao Yan (pronounced sort of like "Chayanne") Hill.

Kit is Marty's brother. (Marty Hill-Dehart--see on previous blogs.) I've known them since they were little kids.

Faranak and Gilberto also wanted to hook up in Madison with Justin Manners, who's Gilbe's buddy from the Baha'i World Center. Justin came out to the house to join the whole gang.

We really had a great visit and overnighted there as well. Xiao Yan and Sofia really bonded (see more on Sofia's blog about that).The weather was great while we were there and we enjoyed that first afternoon's visit on their rear deck which overlooks the valley. The Hill's doggie, Mozart, whom everyone thought looks a lot like an Ewok, can be seen in arms below.
I was hoping that Gilbe would get some good advise about his computer design business from Kit and it seems like they had some good conversations.Kit's mom, Joy, who has suffered a severe stroke, was able to join us for meals and various conversations. It's very difficult to understand her speech but we were delighted that we were able to communicate. We learned that Joy the founder of the newspaper USA Today!
