In the gardens outside the Shrine (corner building) one senses that time has stopped-- finally!
Maribel, Jose and Lourdes are standing in front of what was the Master's pilgrim reception area (blue windows). Many of the early pilgrims came to meet Abdu'l-Baha here and be served tea by him. At that time access to the Mansion was not available to Him due to the opposing family members who jealously guarded the keys (which were not in Baha'i hands until the Guardian was able to obtain them through legal channels years later).
