Another Pyburn-Marder Adventure!

Our trip today with Barry & Kathy, James, Aria and Sasha was to
La Paz Waterfalls. This is our favorite spot to visit in Costa Rica. Here's the point at the reception center where we start down the stairs toward the butterfly gardens and humming bird area (shown on previous blogs).

A fairly new section is for the "poison dart" frog display. These fellows are so tiny & colorful. This little dude is almost a pure golden color!

The first falls lookout point:

Sasha was a little tired and a bit fussy after the first falls so she got the pacifier and a relaxing snuggle with her mom in the sling. She was so relaxed while Aria was slowly walking along, and all the time was touching Aria's face, hair and earrings, etc.

I'll post a video of the waterfalls tomorrow, but at the end of the walk there's a new tourist curio shop. Just outside, where the shuttle bus picks up the hikers to return them to the reception area, the staff puts out leftover rice from the restaurant for the animals in the area. Here are a couple of racoons who showed up while we were there.
